PREMISE: A rather bright and peppy story-mode gambling game in which you play a young man who likes to run around the neighborhood playing the world-famous Peek-a-Boo series of pachislot machines manufactured by Universal, one of the big names in the business.
IMPRESSIONS: Ohh-kay...I'm not a pachislot player, but any game that a major corporation such as Universal is willing to back must have something going for it. Right? At least it looks and sounds slick, and seems to play well enough for
what it is. So, tell me - whatever happened to Big Ichigeki 1?

PREMISE: A tongue-in-cheek sci-fi story in which you (as either a boy or girl) are selected to help fight off an evil alien menace that hates all beings with bones.
IMPRESSIONS: I've always liked LucasArts releases, and this is no exception. Great graphics, great sound, great storyline, and an excellent sense of humor. A good place for RPG newbies to start. |

PREMISE: A closed-circuit isometric racer based on the characters from the popular 1995 animated sci-fi TV series. A gang of alien "biker mice" take on some corporate baddies. The corporations won in the end, though, because one of them bought the company that owned the show and promptly killed it. Think Rock 'n' Roll Racing with a celebrity endorsement.
IMPRESSIONS: A fun racing game for young players, but there's not enough here to keep more advanced ones entertained for long. Sorta reminds me of a biker version of Super Off-road, both in terms of gameplay and graphics style. |

PREMISE: A futuristic YACEG that mixes in equal parts Rollerball (see the James Caan sci-fi flick) and NBA basketball. Endorsed by the legendary NBA player, who started his professional career playing a Sleestak on the original Land of the Lost TV series.
IMPRESSIONS: An oldie but a goodie, and a really good two-player game. It's really easy to piss off your opponent. The graphics and sound aren't what they could be, but the gameplay makes up for it. |

PREMISE: A series of solid and challenging YACEG football sims utilizing the proven Madden game engine. Spotlights the top NCAA football picks for a given year. The first two games were endorsed by coaching legend Bill Walsh - he eventually moved on to the NFL, so the endorsement was dropped.
IMPRESSIONS: Every bit as fun as the Madden NFL series but set for the college scene. It really doesn't matter which one you have - aside from the graphics, the team rosters, and some minor tweaking of the AI, they're all pretty much the same game.
VARIATIONS: This is the complete list of titles as I have them for the G/MD. Of these, I know that at least two were also made for the SNES, so I'm guessing that the other two were released as well (if I'm wrong, please tell me).

PREMISE: You play the role of a masked caped crusader (?!) who runs around on a nice-looking island, a vacation resort of sorts, and enjoys the half-dozen or so activities that are available. Most are takes on various activites that
involve wagering, such as horse racing, arm wrestling, and several different versions of bingo.
IMPRESSIONS: I guess it's okay, done in the the best Japanese style, but lack of knowledge of the language will doom it in most cart collectors' eyes.

Год 2232. После страшной войны млечный путь был разделён а ресурсы исчерпаны. Командование млечного пути срочно ищет ресурсы, для чего на планету УП467 был отправлен флот с единственной целью - найти ресурсы. PREMISE: It is the early 21st century and the gangs have taken over in the wake of a steadily collapsing civilization. A young couple are caught up in the fighting frenzy of the times in this title that seems to be in part inspired by the Mad Max movies.
IMPRESSIONS: Take your standard side-scroll platform fighter like Art of Fighting, crosswire it with a little F-Zero, and you get this. Interesting, if not exactly original.
